Line Chef

We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Job Tasks
  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices

Golf Course Maintenance Worker

Looking for energetic, reliable workers who enjoy working with others in an outdoor setting! These positions are seasonal positions with the opportunity to stay on the crew over winter. Both part-time and full-time positions are available. Must be willing to start shifts as early as 5:30am and work at least one 3-4 hour morning shift on the weekend.

Work entailed includes but not limited to: golf course setup, mowing, string trimming, debris cleanup, raking bunkers, laying sod, mulching, and other tasks similar to lawn care maintenance, grounds, or landscaping.

Shirts are provided for uniform and free golfing opportunities will be available!

Dining Room Supervisor

Job Summary 

Assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of dining room. Ensures timeliness of food service. Supervise and train dining room staff. Manage within budgetary restraints.

Job Tasks/Duties
  • Designs floor plans according to reservations.
  • Plans dining room set-up based on anticipated guest counts and member needs.
  • Takes reservations, checks table reservation schedules and maintains reservations log.
  • Greets and seats members and guests.
  • Inspects dining room employees to ensure that they are in proper and clean uniforms at all times.
  • Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates dining room staff.
  • Performs daily POS closeout and tip distribution requirements (Bussers and Bartenders). Verifies proper distribution of tips and hours for employees and submits to Payroll Office.
  • Provides appropriate reports concerning employee hours, schedules, pay rates, job changes, tip pools, etc.
  • Receives and resolves complaints concerning dining room service.
  • Serves as liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff.
  • Assures that all side-work is accomplished and that all cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule.
  • Directs pre-meal meetings with dining room personnel; relays pertinent information such as house count and menu changes, special member requests, etc.
  • Assures the correct appearance, cleanliness and safety of dining room areas, equipment and fixtures; checks the maintenance of all equipment in the dining room and reports deficiencies and maintenance concerns.
  • Makes suggestions about improvements in dining room service procedures and layout.
  • Trains staff on all aspects of the POS system.
  • Assures that the dining room and other club areas are secure at the end of the business day.
  • Maintains an inventory of dining room items including silverware, coffee pots, water pitchers, glassware, flatware and china, salt and pepper holders, sugar bowls and linen and ensures that they are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Monitors dining room labor and supplies.
  • Assists in service as needed.
  • Attends scheduled staff meetings.
  • May serve as club’s opening and closing manager or manager on duty.
  • Works with Executive Chef to update, review and print weekly menu changes.
  • Assures that local and state laws and the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
  • Performs other appropriate assignments and projects as required by the Food and Beverage Director.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

F&B Banquet/Closing Manager

Job Summary

Supervise the banquet functions for the club. Assists management in supervising service personnel to ensure that member and guest satisfaction and presentation standards are consistently attained. Manage all areas of food and beverage when banquets are slow to maintain hours.

Job Tasks/Duties
  • Under general supervision, coordinates and supervises catered events based on client specifications and documented in the Banquet Event Order.
  • Works with Clubhouse Manager, Banquet Chef and others to coordinate personnel requirements for private functions.
  • Supervises and directs banquet staff during all phases of a catered event.
  • Effectively and regularly communicates expectations and service goals to staff.
  • Assists in the development and execution of short- and long-term department goals.
  • Coordinates food service between kitchen and banquet service staff.
  • Inspects all linens daily for proper appearance.
  • Assists in room set-up.
  • Assists with inventory of all banquet service ware, equipment and supplies to meet required needs.
  • Enforces established club rules, regulations and policies.
  • Prepares and reviews table diagrams, guest tables and set-up needs for special functions.
  • Participates in or conducts pre-function meeting with servers to ensure smooth, efficient service; assigns server stations and coordinates the timing of courses.
  • Ensures that all banquet staff are well-groomed and in proper uniform.
  • Assists with training, supervising, scheduling and evaluating of banquet service staff.
  • Assures the neatness, cleanliness and safety of all banquet areas.
  • Interacts with banquet host or hostess to assure all needs are being met.
  • Assures that state and local laws and the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
  • Analyzes accurately situations requiring solutions and adopts an effective plan of action.
  • Notifies management of member and guest complaints.
  • Oversees breakdown of event, including clean-up activities and securing the facilities.
  • Completes an after-event “Banquet Service Catering Report” to improve quality and efficiency of banquet functions.
  • Attends Banquet Department meetings and confers with management to identify, plan and develop methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency.
  • Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Clubhouse Manager.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Outside Service Staff

Job Summary:

The outside service position is a customer service-oriented job that requires a friendly attitude, personal assistance, and attention to detail. The responsibilities include providing bag, golf car and range services to all members and guests.
This position reports to the Head Golf Professional and all Golf Professional Staff.

Job Tasks/Duties:
  • Enthusiastically greet members and guest as they arrive on site
  • Bring golf cars from cart barn to staging area; checks golf cars for tire pressure, break operation and other safety considerations
  • Load bags from bag storage room onto golf cars
  • Transport range balls to range and full appropriate containers
  • Operate ball picker on range to retrieve balls and hand pick using shag bags when necessary
  • Wash all range balls daily
  • Remove bags from golf cars and return bags to assigned rack in bag storage room 
  • Return golf cars to car shelter; remove towels, pencils, scorecards, tees, trash from golf cars and saves reusable items; checks cars for damage, washes golf car with water hose and dry off; park car in shelter and connect charger cable
  • Cleans all clubs for members and guests
  • Maintain cleanliness of and order in Bag Storage Room 
  • Close the course and lock up cart barn nightly
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Professional Staff 
  • Required to wear proper uniform
